Userware Joins Manchester Digital

Userware is an innovative software development consultancy providing web, desktop, mobile, AI, and XR development services.

We are growing the XR service side of the business and have developed capabilities and services for a range of sectors and devices including mobile AR and Meta Quest headsets.

Education

Mixed reality can be used to make learning more enjoyable, by taking traditional learning materials and methods and re-imagining it to make it more interesting, tangible and engaging.

Geospatial

Geography and geospatial data can be brought into shared immersive experiences, with additional layers of information overlayed on top. Our "mixed reality maps" overcomes the limitations of traditional maps on a 2D screen by visualising the terrain topography in 3D which can be further customised with objects and markers.

Data Visualisation

We've had great feedback regarding our immersive data visualisations with clients describing it as "powerful". By allowing the user to walk through the data, reach out and touch it, we are bringing the data to life as all data has a story to tell. As well as visualising the data immersively, the user can also carry out traditional data analysis to probe the data including linear regression, k-means clustering, and linear/logarithmic scales to help find patterns and trends in the data.

Fun

Of course, immersive experiences provide new paradigms for entertaining experiences. Imagine how taking traditional games into three dimensions can add a new way of playing fun games.

Maps

People love maps, especially if you combine maps with data. Previously we've created interactive, immersive databound US presidential election and UK general election maps.

Property

We have a number of offerings for estate agents, civil engineers and architects that help visualise properties, buildings and areas taking advantage of immersive capabilities. Viewing properties in this manner, helps visualise it in a way that traditional 2D images and videos cannot.

Heritage

What better way of preserving and learning about history than by being able to pick up and closely examine historic artifacts. Advances in 3D scanning technology and the popularisation of 3D model creation means that you can view artifacts from around the world, from all periods of history.
